It is important for your children to feel that you are excited about family night! If they think you aren’t having any fun it will take a lot of the fun out of the evening for them. Children love to see their parents laughing and engaged in the activity. This might be a bit tricky. Father’s maybe a tea party doesn’t sound like a home run to you or Mom’s a game of catch might not be your cup of tea but it is a blessing to your children if you get into it with the same enthusiasm as you hope to see in them.

A resource called “Family Toolbox for 2015: Building Gospel-Centered Families” with 8 tools (or booklets) is now available. Reserve your family’s toolbox in your Life Journey Group beginning November 23rd or in the lobby beginning December 7th. You may also contact Megan Smith in the church office to reserve a toolbox at masmith@lawndalebaptist.org.
